Most car dealerships in Houston push the cost of a car as the selling point of a particular vehicle. They purposely put stickers of the Manufacture Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) on the car so it can appear to be worth more than what they will sell it for.
Right off the bat the price of the car can be dropped by a few hundred dollars because it simply a suggested price that the manufacturer tells the dealership in order for them to make a significant amount of profit.
Car dealerships in Houston will then use the “buffer” they have on the cost to fool you, making you feel privileged when they lessen it by a few thousand dollars, but if you finance the vehicle and have little or no credit, you will end up paying close to if not the entire sticker price.

2. Check your car’s history records. This will allow you to remove half of the cars from your list without potential problems. Vehicles that have been flooded or suffered a major accident of any kind can be eliminated. Most car dealerships in Houston might shy away from giving you this information. If you are new to a big city, chances are you will be soon taking taxis as transportation. A few simple tips will help you along in taxi etiquette. First, do not go running past someone who has been waiting to grab the next taxi. Be polite and wait your turn. Another one will come along soon.
You may want to share a fare with another, even a stranger, to save money or get out of rain or snow faster. When sharing a fare, it is appropriate to split the cost. If you and a friend are sharing a taxi to go to similar locations, the first person to arrive at their destination should pay half of the fare and tip, rather than leaving the last person to arrive with the full amount.
It is easiest for the first person to get out of the taxi to give their share in cash to the remaining passenger, and allow him or her to pay at the end of the trip. If you are the last person in the taxi, don’t feel obligated to turn away the money. This can create uncomfortable feelings of obligation for the person who rode free.
